Second Day
So its finally time to make some tools. First, right click the crafting table. To make sticks for the tools do this(don't use all the planks):
To make your first tool, I recommend the sword. This weapon saves you from enemies, also called "mobs."(you need would planks to make these tools, so only make a few sticks.

Your next tool is for mining. This tool is called a pickaxe. Here is the recipe(wooden picks can only mine stone):
And to get to the stone, you'll need to mine dirt. So the best tool for this is the shovel:
First Day
Hey guys! Minecraft is a popular world-wide game as you may have heard, which incorporates building and mining features. On your first day in minecraft, maybe explore the map. This can help you see the world's features, terrains, and biomes. If you are scared of getting lost somewhere in the biomes, or want to make a home, collect as much wood as you can. Get the same type of wood, or your wood be different.
This is the crafting table interface(shown above). To create a crafting table, press "e", than put your wood in the 2x2 crafting area. This will make wooden planks. Take 4 planks, and put one in each square. This will make the crafting table. Right click to place it, then right click it again to activate the interface. The table now has a 3x3 interface.
